Another amazing breakfast this morning, most people are going off on bus trips today. Some are going to the World Heritage listed Cesky Krumlov, in Czech Republic for the day, this city still contains over 300 historical buildings and its atmosphere is incomparable while still maintaining its unique character. While others are going to Salzburg to check out where the Sound of Music was made many years ago, Salzburg is known as the City of Mozart, a beautiful city.

The people left on the ship are having an easy day sailing down the river looking at the beautiful scenery, villages and towns along the river and watching the happenings as we go through many of the locks. We will be going through 68 locks in total during the trip.

It’s time for lunch again (all we seem to do is eat)! Today all the meals have been Bavarian themed with the waiting staff all dressed up along with lots of decorations around the place and German food and drink available at meal times.

Our ship is heading for Passau where we will dock for a few hours, there will be a walking tour around the city with a couple of local guides to look at the history of the city, a cathedral and the town square. The weather today is not good, rainy and cold, (I might say though that this is the first day that it has effected what we do on the trip) and not many people are keen to go on the tour. After the tour we had a bit of free time for shopping and yes you guessed it more gift shops.

We are also waiting for the people that went on their day trips to meet us here before we sail off to Regensburg. Dinner again tonight, more food, an unbelievable meal again and after dinner we have some more entertainment. Join The Bavarian Devils for a great German evening in the lounge a lot of fun music and dancing was enjoyed by all who attended, most people headed off to bed after the show.
